WHO IS KT?
I am Ketauris "KT" Showers. I was born September 1st 1992
in East Birmingham raised in East Memphis.
I am a music producer, songwriter, and recording artist.
My goal in life is to become a renown music producer and/or recording artist. I have been producing and writing music since I was 14 years old. I graduated high school and went directly to the military to serve both of my dreams to be a soldier and invest in myself as an artist. However, due to rigorous service, I now suffer a disability that has caused chronic nerve damage in my feet leaving me to walk on a cane. My disability gave me an oppurtunity to add a unique twist to my brand and another tool to be different. The US Army retired me at the young age of 19 and I have been using my time to sharpen my craft, work for myself, and function optimally as a producer for local artists. I graduated from Full Sail University in 2019 for music production and released my first official singles a year after.
KT/error is an equation for individuality.
Individuality and quality are most important to my music and I so I implement it in everything that I do. My style of music combines elements of early 2000's trap and crunk music with modern melodic anthems. I spent time suffering hardships on the streets of Memphis and Birmingham and experienced a lot trauma in life. Like being raised by a single mom and moving from hood to hood due to her job. I was always new to places and constantly made new enemies and few friends. This taught me about the importance of individuality. Im grateful to be able to tell honest stories and share gems that personally helped me in life in my music. I'm a radical with my beliefs and I stand on them heavy.When I write music I intend to hype you up and teach you something about me. I use my skill, aspirations, and experiences drive my music only while trying to be uninfluenced and original in everything I do. I feel that I have a unique sound and message which gives me the responsibility of sharing it with the world.
